At Green Towson Alliance, we care about the environment

The Green Towson Alliance unites Towson area environmentalists to achieve a greener, healthier, more beautiful community through collaboration and activism.

As an alliance of residents from the greater Towson, Maryland neighborhoods, we gather for mutual support, exchanges of ideas, and networking with others in pursuing goals related to increasing the “green” characteristics of the Towson area. If you consider Towson your downtown or are invested in what happens there you are welcome. We get our hands dirty, share ideas and concerns, help each other with plans and strategies, and support each other with our various skills and talents.

The Green Towson Alliance puts on an annual contest celebrating native plant gardens in our community, and the people who create them!

See past winners on the website and consider entering your own garden for the 2025 contest, when it is open for entries again in the spring.
